The activity of the Yugra State University in information system development is aimed at the development and introduction of new information technologies to create the innovative research and educational environment, which helps achieve a new quality level of education.
The University corporate network provides single distributed information space to store electronic educational resources.
The educational segment of the network holds more than 3500 students accounts. All the University students have an opportunity to work in computer classrooms and use the Internet.
Information system development
of Administrative Work
The University is introducing complex information system (CIS "Galactika-ERP") for automation of the University administration. Personnel, students and finance management modules have been introduced. Modules of accounting, property, contract and educational process administration are currently being introduced
The system of secure information exchange between remote branches of Yugra State University has been worked out. |
Internet/Intranet Technologies
The department provides Technical support and administration of the University official website is provided by the department for information system development. The website contains the information on the University history, structure and activities, courses, professional training programmes and distance education, information for applicants, various normative documents.
The following electronic network services have been developed:
- Electronic class schedule;
- Frequently Asked Questions;
- Yugra State University telephone directory;
- Electronic application service system.
Works on library informatization are currently being carried out. The server, which gives the University network and Internet users an access to the electronic catalogues of the scientific library of the University, has been opened.
Other information resources include the server of testing and server of the student employment department. Legal information systems like ?Garant?, ?Consultant Plus?, ?Codex? and the largest encyclopedic resource ?Rubrikon? are also available on the University network.
Information system development and forming the single information environment of the University improve the quality of educational, scientific, administrative, financial and economic activity of the University.
