May 24-26, the Regional Forum Festival on Counter-Extremism, Ethnic and Religious Intolerance was held at the Ugra Expo Exhibition Center.


The mission of the forum is to improve the expertise level and to grow incentives among youth organizations leaders as they maintain inter-ethnic and inter-faith concord, extremism prevention, promote best practices of project implementation of state national policy in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra. The participants were involved in discussions, round table talks, educational platforms.


Aleksandra Titova, educational psychologist, together with Viktor Lisenkov and Igor Bobylev, students of the Institute of Technical Systems and IT became the YUSU delegates at the forum.


All the participants were opted to choose preferable training modules from a variety of educational platforms:


–  “Preparation and arrangement of Internet, blogosphere, social networking events among youth experts”;

–  “Modern ethnic and cultural project management”;

–  “Modern youth outreach in the field of inter-ethnic and inter-faith concord”.


We, organizers, do care about ultimate results to be shown as social projects, which are becoming more and more serious every year corresponding to international and national agenda. – Hatun Shonia, representative of the Youth Activist Unit under the Coordination Council for National and Cultural Autonomies and Interaction with Religious Associations under the Government of KMAO-Yugra said.
