YUSU STUDENT TO REPRESENT YUGRA AT INTERNATIONAL CONTEST
Victoria Kostyleva will compete in the pageant "Student Miss Finno-Ugria".

On September 25-30, the city of Syktyvkar, Komi Republic will host the VI International beauty contest "Student Miss Finno-Ugria 2017". The event is traditionally held among member institutions of the Association of Finno-Ugric Universities: Yugra State University, Mari State University, Mordovia State University, Petrozavodsk State University, Syktyvkar State University, Udmurt State University as well as Komi Republican Academy of Public Administration and Management, Glazov State Pedagogical Institute named after V.G. Korolenko, University of Eastern Finland and West-Hungarian University.

Victoria have been selected to represent YUSU as a custodian of traditions of minor peoples of the North after having participated in scores of thematic forums, fairs and exhibits.

In the contest she is to perform a song in Khanty language, demonstrate a stylized traditional suit and provide an insight into Khanty and Mansi plays.

The "Student Miss Finno-Ugria" pageant is hosted in association with the VI Congress of Finno-Ugric peoples of the Russian Federation.
