ALL-RUSSIAN CONFERENCE FOR MINOR PEOPLES OF THE NORTH
The All-Russian Applied Research Conference "New Horizons of Development" and "Window of Opportunities" for indigenous peoples of the North will be held by Yugra State University in association with the non-governmental organization "Salvation of Yugra" and the Youth Organization of Ob-Ugric Peoples of KhMAO-Yugra in Khanty-Mansiysk on June 16, 2016. 

The mission of the conference is to raise youth awareness on challenges the minor peoples of the North face in their traditional life, education and social welfare.

Conference tracks:
• Social and Economic Development of Indigenous Minor Peoples of the North: Experience, Challenges, Prospects;
• Ethnographic Tourism as Means of Maintining and Reviving the Ethnocultural Heritage;
• Indigenous Minor Peoples of the North: Issues of Education Development and Inter-Ethnic Relations with Oil Well Owners.

Forms of paricipation:
• In presence. Report with a multimedia slide show, duration 7-8 mins;
• Online. Report via Skype, Mirapolis or other online communication means;
• Remote. Paper to be submitted and published in a conference proceedings issue. No attendance needed.

We welcome all prospective participants interested in issues the conference aiming to address.

Conference proceedings will be assigned international ISSN, UDC, LBC indices.

Papers shall be in Russian or English languages.
Text file is to have a title of a track number and a full name of the participant (e.g. 2_first name_last name).
