Yugra State University and the World Bank are ready to cooperate

During the official visit to Yugra, Apurva Sanghi, World Bank’s Lead Economist in the Russian Federation, met with the leadership of the University. Representatives of the University and the World Bank found points of intersection in the field of scientific research and discussed promising areas of cooperation.

- Within the framework of the scientific direction, the bank's experts will be able to come to Yugra State University and give open lectures. As well as teachers and research associates of the university will be able to be involved in the World Bank projects as experts or project executors, said Anna Brovina, vice-rector for Youth Policy and External Relations. - The World Bank is ready to share the developed educational modules and textbooks on the economy and development of the region.

In addition, Apurva Sanghi, World Bank’s Lead Economist gave a lecture to academic staff of the Institute of Digital Economics.


In the framework of the lecture, Mr. Apurva Sangi presented the findings of the World Bank report and answered questions from University staff.
