YSU TO HOST SUMMER SCHOOL FOR BUDAPEST TEENAGE STUDENTS

Future participants of the summer school are the winners of the national contest "Russia-Hungary: Dialogue of Cultures", co-organized by Yugra State University.


The contest "Russia-Hungary: Dialogue of Cultures" is meant for Hungarian high school students aged 14 to 19 years and to be held from January 25 to April 4. The final event will be held at the Russian Cultural Center in Budapest on April 4.


The organizers are the Russian Cultural Center in Budapest and Yugra State University.


The aim of the contest is to increase knowledge of the Russian and Hungarian culture among the participants through creative self-fulfillment and the development of international youth cooperation.


The event will be held in four nominations: writing an essay, reciting original belles-lettres or poetry by Russian and Hungarian authors, drawing competitions, and stage performances in Russian. The main directions of creative competitions "World Without War. The Year Of Memory And Glory In Russia" and "Finno-Ugric Cultural World: Russia - Hungary".


The winners in each nomination will be awarded valuable prizes. Nine absolute winners will be awarded a journey to Russia (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra) in summer 2020.
