Consul General of Azerbaijan visited Yugra State University
Yugra State University has cooperation agreements with Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, Azerbaijan State University of Architecture and Construction and Baku Higher School of Oil. Five students of YuSU are currently studying at Baku Higher School of Oil.

“Our cooperation began in 2017, when Yugra State University took part in an educational exhibition organized by Rossotrudnichestvo and RUSSIA.STUDY in Baku,” said the University Vice-Rector Anna Brovina. - This was followed by the IAUP conference “Globalization and new criteria in higher education”, which was also held in Baku by the International Association of University Presidents.

In 2019, a delegation of  Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry headed by Mustafa Baba oglu Babanly visited Khanty-Mansiysk, our university, and took part in the First International Oil Academic Congress named after F.K. Salmanov. This joint scientific event was continued in the form of a student international media expedition “The Way of Oil”.

Oil travelers from Yugra and Bashkiria traveled along the Salmanov route: Gornopravdinsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Megion, Surgut, Khanty-Mansiysk, Tyumen; visited Ufa, Baku and completed the expedition in Moscow.

Ilgar Fazil, Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Yekaterinburg, noted that the trip to Khanty-Mansiysk dispelled the stereotypes about Yugra: oil, work, money. “Yugra is famous for the largest Azerbaijani diaspora beyond the Urals. “I think that due to the fact that there is such a young and prospective university with many areas of study, students have great development prospects and they can become wonderful specialists” he said.
