YuSU representatives sewed 180 protective masks and donated them to the hospital
“The university is actively involved in volunteering activity: our volunteers work in a call center, receive calls and help those who need support today, the elderly people of Khanty-Mansiysk and World War II veterans,” - says Anna Brovina, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and External Relations. - Today we donate protective masks to medical workers who are fighting against coronavirus infection.

These masks were sewn by the employees of the Center for the Northern Peoples of Yugra State University Marina Glazova and Victoria Kostyleva.

- The center for Northern Peoples, like many other university units, is working remotely and continue to sew traditional national products. But now, when the situation in the country is not easy, we could not stay away and began to sew medical masks for our volunteers and doctors, ” - says the director of the center Marina Glazova. - It takes 10-15 minutes to sew one mask. Masks are of different colors and sizes, so that hospital staff can share them with the smallest patients.

- We express our gratitude to Yugra State University for the assistance provided to us - says Natalya Solovyova, anesthetist nurse.
