Online exams at YuSU

Yugra State University and its branches (colleges and technical schools) have been working remotely since March 16. All students went home, not only to the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous okrug, but also to other regions of our country, and foreigners left the territory of Russia. Students attend their classes by using online platforms. And now they have to defend thesis paper (final qualifying work) and course projects, sitting at their computers.

The university administration has already made a number of changes: some exams have been transferred to the test form.

-         COVID-19 can not cancel exams and the defense of final qualifying works – said Roman Kuchin, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs - The University has adapted to distance education, and we realized that the technologies used for training can be used for passing end-of-semester exams.

Online exams will be held in different formats: tests, written papers, creative tasks, essays, group or individual work on video communication. Final qualifying papers will be defended by using video-conferences.
