General information

The chair was founded in 2002, and has been training the students with a degree in pedagogics and psychology.

The chair employs 27 lecturers, including one Dr of Sciences in pedagogics, 16 PhDs (in pedagogics, psychology and socilology), 3 Honoured teachers, one People’s artist of Russia, and one Honoured cultural worker of Russia.

The chair provides education in the following majors:

• Pedagogics and psychology,

• Social work,

• Art,

• Music

• Pedagogics and psychology,

• Music.

The chair has established links with Moscow state pedagogical university and Tyumen state university. The staff of the chair maintain scientific connections with the leading specialists of te country in the field of education, and in this respect the chair is developing the practice of inviting famous specialists to conduct lectures to the students and exchange experience with the lecturers of the chair.
