The journal accepts for publication methodological, theoretical and experimental works, as well as reviews, presented in any form convenient for the author, including the lectures in the field of environmental dynamics and global climate change.
Since the journal is oriented, first of all, at promoting the young authors (young scientists, post-graduate students and even senior students) who have difficulties publishing their first works, the editorial board is challenged, first, with attracting beginner authors, an second, keeping the high scientific standard of the journal. Indeed, the high quality of publications is achieved by the leading specialists strictly editing the manuscripts. But such an approach can deter the beginners, and even worse, shatter their faith in their abilities and probably turn them from such an important component of the scientific process as publishing the results of research. What's the way out?
We've chosen the following. On the one hand, we don't consider it possible to sacrifice the quality of the materials, so we will try and provide the most professional and strict reviewing of the manuscripts, enlisting the leading specialists to do this. On the other hand, we may convince the authors that their works (if they correspond the journal's topic) will not be declined. The editors are ready to cooperate with the authors (if the authors choose it) until all the reviewers' remarks are corrected and the material is accepted for print.
In general, we would like to keep to the most democratic policies in editing. It concerns, in particular, the deadlines for sending the articles. We plan to publish the journal twice a year, in April and November. But we encourage the authors to send the papers as early as possible (not in March and October) for them to undergo the complete cycle of editing and corrections in accordance with the reviewers' remarks. But again, we put the quality first, so if the authors and reviewer's are unable to complete the process with the article by the time we pass the next issue to print, it will be published in one of the later issues.
