In Khanty-Mansiysk, a Large-Scale Roundtable on Interethnic Relations and Support for Indigenous Peoples of Yugra Took Place

Around 70 participants gathered on one platform: representatives of educational institutions, mass media, municipal and state services. They discussed key directions for the development of indigenous peoples, the harmonization of interethnic relations, and best practices for cooperation.

Speakers included:

·         Alsu Maganova, Associate Professor at the Center for Educational Engineering of Yugra State University (YuSU), Chairperson of the Public Chamber of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug;

·         Representatives of the regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia (Khanty-Mansiysk);

·         Representatives of religious organizations in the region.

"This topic is very important, especially in the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Such a broad range of participants allows us to work on this direction as thoroughly as possible, covering all spheres of activity in the region," concluded Elizaveta Kozina, Director of the Coordination Center.
