International programs at YuSU
Roman Kuchin made an announce of international educational programs in Yugra State University.
The rector of YuSU Roman Kuchin told about the development of new educational programs to the Council on higher education and science under the Governor of Yugra. One of the main topics of the council was the “Export potential of Yugra universities”.
Now the university is working on cooperative educational programs and has determined the most perspective directions and potential partners. The Master degree educational program «Carbon Management and Climate Change» is planned to be launched in 2022 in cooperation with Russian (Forest Sciences Institution of Russian Academy of Sciences, RAS Climate and Environmental Monitoring Institute) and International (University of Helsinki, University of Greifswald) partners.
YuSU has the experience of a successful international cooperation. During the last 20 years the university has concluded more than 40 international agreements with organizations and universities from 18 countries. YuSU’s students and employees are active participants of academic mobility programs. Every year our students goes to Czech Republic, Finland, Norway, China.
Since 2021 the preparatory department for foreign citizens functions in YuSU. In cooperation with the Russian House in Lusaka a preparatory course of Russian language for ten students was organized. Now seven of them are studying at YuSU.
