"Startup Guide": Yugra State University Hosts a Series of Trainings on the Basics of Technological Entrepreneurship

This educational platform provides young leaders with the opportunity to develop and launch their own business startup as part of a team of like-minded individuals in a convenient and easy-to-understand format. The training is conducted within the framework of the federal project "Technologies".

"This is the third year that we have been conducting these trainings in partnership with Ural Federal University for those who truly possess an entrepreneurial spirit and wish to connect their future careers with business," noted Tatyana Kostyleva, Acting Rector.

During the training, participants:

·         formed teams from various academic disciplines;

·         came up with a promising startup idea;

·         tested the viability of their business idea;

·         identified monetization strategies;

·         prepared their first presentation for experts.

Ten teams presented their projects across a variety of fields, ranging from 3D printing of vehicle parts to an AI-powered chatbot aimed at reducing anxiety among school and university students.

"It was a unique experience – both interesting and enlightening. I got to know people from other fields of study, and we had a very friendly and great team. I learned a lot of new things thanks to the training. I realized that any idea which initially seems absurd can later serve as the starting point for a startup. I think we could try to develop this project further – the university offers many opportunities for that," shared a participant from the winning team, "Broccoli."

We wish the participants success and look forward to seeing you at the next trainings!
