The university was one of the main venues for the 9th International Youth Scientific and Practical Forum "Oil Capital." Leading experts gathered to discuss current issues and challenges in the oil and gas industry.
The event included a plenary session entitled "Towards Russia's Technological Sovereignty: From Concept to Implementation."
Participants discussed:
- Maintaining hydrocarbon production levels in accordance with Russia's Energy Strategy through 2035;
- Possibilities of implementing modern science-intensive technologies in production;
- Economic and legal aspects of subsoil use.
The roundtable discussion "Unconventional Hydrocarbon Sources" addressed:
- Promising technologies for increasing the efficiency of unconventional and hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves;
- Current trends in upgrading oil dispersed systems and high-molecular oil components: fundamental and applied aspects;
- digital tools for the rational extraction of unconventional hydrocarbon sources.
