The main stage of the 2025 admission campaign has been completed at YuSU

Yugra State University has published the lists of students enrolled in bachelor's and specialist's degree programs as part of the admission campaign in 2025.

The competitive situation demonstrated an increase in the number of applicants and high competition for popular destinations. This year, a total of 8,287 applications were submitted, which is 3.5% more than last year. More than 80% of applicants have used the Public Services portal, which indicates the digitalization of the application process.

The average university competition was 12.1 people per place. A total of 684 people have been enrolled in the budget, including 70 students - participants of the special military operation and their children.

The most competitive areas were "Oil and gas business" (18.92 people per place), "Computer Science and Computer Engineering" (13.4), "Electric power and Electrical Engineering" (13.4). At the same time, the humanities demonstrate a traditionally high level of training: "Law" (average score 77.65), "Linguistics" (77.0) and "Physical Education" (73.0).

Among engineering specialties, the best results were shown by "Software Engineering" (69.83), "Oil and Gas Engineering and Technology" (69.0) and "Information Security" (67.0). These data confirm that the University successfully combines the development of technical education with the preservation of strong traditional trends.

The geography of admission remained as wide as ever: 63.5% of students were young people from Yugra, 35% from other regions of Russia, and 1.5% were foreign citizens. A total of 40 foreigners enrolled, from countries such as Kazakhstan, Tadjikistan, Azerbaijan, Ghana and Bangladesh.

"The steady growth in the number of applicants demonstrated during the admission campaign in 2025 clearly demonstrates the increased competitiveness of our university in the educational market. The growing number of applications submitted confirms the correctness of the course we have chosen to develop relevant educational programs that meet modern economic challenges and the demands of the regional labor market. I am confident that the combination of academic traditions and modern educational trends will allow Yugra State University to maintain its position in the regional higher education system and train highly qualified specialists for the economy of Yugra and the whole of Russia," said Roman Kuchin, Rector of Yugra.
