On the eve of Victory Day, YUSU international students and teacher Radwan Alrahhal took part in the international teleconference «North for Victory. Everyone for the Cause of Peace », timed to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the year of peace and unity in the fight against Nazism in the countries of the CIS.
The international project «North for Victory. Everyone for the Cause of Peace » has been implemented since 2020 with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Federal Agency for Nationalities, the Government of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, the International Organization of Northern Regions «Northern Forum» in order to develop international humanitarian cooperation, preservation and dissemination of historical truth about World War II, the labor exploits of Soviet citizens, spiritual and moral development and patriotic education of the youth community.
This year the teleconference is held with online participation of foreign representatives-partners of the international project «North for Victory. Everyone for the Cause of Peace »from the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, People's Republic of China, Republic of Moldova, Republic of Serbia, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The international teleconference helps to strengthen international dialog on the basis of common history, to implement initiatives aimed at highlighting the contribution of each nation to the common Victory, to attract international partners to activities to preserve historical memory, to encourage cooperation and friendship among people of different nationalities, to develop interest in the study by new generations of the history and exploits of their relatives, the contribution of each nation to the common Victory.
