Yugra State University students gain new internship opportunities in IT: University and InfoWatch Group signed cooperation agreement in Information Security

Within the framework of the XVII International IT Forum with the participation of BRICS and SCO countries, a cooperation agreement was signed between Yugra State University and InfoWatch Group, a developer of data protection and network infrastructure solutions. The agreement is aimed at developing interaction in the educational, scientific, technical, and innovation spheres.

The document was signed by Roman Kuchin, Rector of Yugra State University, and Natalya Kasperskaya, President of InfoWatch Group. The main areas of cooperation will include training personnel in information security, implementing joint educational and research projects, developing student research activities, exchanging expertise, and introducing practice-oriented approaches to education.

Special attention will be paid to creating conditions for training specialists who meet the modern requirements of the digital economy. Yugra State University students will gain additional opportunities to participate in specialised events, internships, placements, and research projects involving leading experts in the field.

The parties also plan to hold joint conferences, seminars, and workshops, participate in the development of educational programmes, and strengthen collaboration between the university and the industry.
