Open Day was held in YugraSU

A university-wide Open Day was held in Yugra State University, where educational programs of institutes, faculties were presented, and the advantages of studying at the university were told. The event was held in a mixed format.

The rector of YugraSU Roman Kuchin addressed the participants of the Open Day with a welcoming speech: "To decide on a future profession means to find your path and vocation for many years to come, and today you are all facing a choice! Yugra State University is a young and dynamically developing university in Russia, which is rightfully the leading scientific and educational center of the region. We have created all the conditions not only for professional training, but also for cultural, sports and social life. Our main goal has always been and remains the training of highly qualified and competitive specialists who know and love their work, who are able to make competent decisions in any conditions."

This year, YugraSU plans to accept 977 students for state-funded places.

As part of the Open Day program, applicants and their parents were shown the laboratories of advanced digital technologies of the Higher Oil and Engineering Schools, the LEAN laboratory, and also presented the student design bureau.

The guests of the university visited the laboratories of the Higher School of Ecology, and also took part in quizzes and professional games. School students had an opportunity to get advice on preparing for the Unified State Exam.

At the same time, presentations of educational programs and master classes from teachers, graduates and potential employers of Yugra State University were held in the classrooms. So, the staff of the Yugra Green School Center of Excellence held a situational game "Who is an ecologist?" to determine the future professional preferences of schoolchildren in the field of ecology, and the specialists of the Institute of Oil and Gas organized a quiz "Oil around us!".

In addition, the admissions committee organized the work of a consultation point on admission in 2022, where it answered all the applicants' questions.

As a result of the meeting, applicants were given a tour of the university's sports complex – a modern campus that includes classrooms, an Olympic swimming pool and seven specially equipped gyms.
