YuSU Hosts Compatriots from 13 Countries!

From August 6 to 11, Khanty-Mansiysk became the venue for the federal Rossotrudnichestvo program – the cultural and educational tour "Hello, Russia!" for young compatriots aged 14 to 19.

The project brought together 41 participants from 13 countries: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Egypt, Israel, India, Kazakhstan, China, Cyprus, Moldova, Slovakia, Tajikistan, and Tanzania.

YuSU played a key role in the educational program. The participants were given a tour of the university's sports complex and the UNESCO Chair – the Research and Education Center "Environmental Dynamics and Global Climate Change." The young guests explored VR technologies, learned about the work of the design bureau, and visited laboratories for petroleum chemistry, environmental soil science, and advanced digital technologies. They even had the chance to measure the density of diesel fuel using specialized instruments. The visitors also toured the short-stay children's group room and the mother and child room. This space was established in 2025 as part of the national project "Family" to support student families.

One of the participants, Nikita Shutki from Kazakhstan, visited Yugra for the first time and was deeply impressed:

"The university is huge, and there are so many activities. When you walk in and start looking around, you almost run out of breath. At some point, you realize you want to study here. We had hands-on classes, which were really exciting, and they make you see the world in a completely new way."
