The goal of the Preparatory Department is to develop Russian language proficiency and readiness of foreign applicants to continue their study at Russian higher education institutions. It offers courses in Russian language and profession-oriented subjects. After taking a preparatory course, prospective students can apply to any Russian university for a Russian-taught education programme. Yugra State University offers international prospective students training options that differ in academic areas, lengths of study, number of disciplines, study periods and tuition fees. University also arranges various events to help international students learn about Russian culture and customs and facilitate their adaptation to new environment.
Yugra State University Preparatory Department offers foreigners five academic fields to choose from:
Preparatory course – “Standard”:
Period of study: October – June

Training period:- 9 months;
Total number of academic hours: – 2160, including 1120 classroom hours;
Accommodation: - 2000 rubles/month;
Tuition fee - 100 000 rubles.
