Professors of Yugra State University took part in the exhibition in the USA
Professors of Yugra State University Olga and Evgeniy Naumenko helped to organize an exhibition devoted to the New Year celebration. The exhibition took place in General Crook House Museum in state Nebraska, the USA. Within it a special section “Russian New Year” was organized.
For the exhibition scientists from Yugra prepared photos on the topic “Children’s faces in New Year. Siberia. Russia. The second half of the 20th century”. The idea was to show a shift away from the communistic ideology in the Soviet society, changes in suits, gifts and, of course, children’s faces in the period from 1955 to 1991. Teachers of the university’s Department of History, Philosophy and Law Tatiana Tkacheva, Natalia Kharina and Tatiana Ivashchenko helped to prepare photos for the exhibition.
In total 15 photos have been chosen, professors provided a historical and psychological commentary for each of them.
