Students of YuSU won the main Grand Prix of the regional Student Spring Festival

The results of the four-day festival of student creativity in Yugra were announced in Khanty-Mansiysk. The final of the 20th Regional Festival "Student Spring" was held in the concert and theatrical center "Yugra-Classic". The Grand-Prix in the overall standings among the higher educational institutions was won by students of Yugra State University! The winners of the general competition were awarded by the Yugra governor Natalya Komarova.

So, here are our winners. In the concert nomination among the organizations of higher education in «Theater» the grand prize won the collective of the theater-studio «Otdykhai» (YuSU), in «Student programs» the winner of the main award also became the collective of YuSU. In the nomination «Dancing» Zakir Petakov (YuSU) won the Grand Prix. In the nomination «Video» the winners became the team «Proyavis» (YuSU).

«Student Spring for me this time was not easy, interesting, a lot of emotion and effort was put into it during the preparation. At the end of it I have mixed feelings, maybe I still don't fully understand and accept the Grand Prix, but on the whole I am satisfied with the result!»- Zakir Petakov, one of the Student Spring Grand Prix winners, shared his emotions.

«This is my third student spring, and every year it surprises me more and more. This year Student Spring was held in our city, and it's a very different emotion. You feel the support not only from your team, but also from other delegations. Of course, student spring is a hard time, and I wonder where I get so much energy! Emotions from the performances and warm memories from the rehearsals are incredible sensations that every student should feel,» - said Olga Kiporenko, a member of the modern choreography studio «Light it».

It should be noted that the winners will get a chance to be a part of Yugra delegation, which will go to the All-Russian stage. This year for university students it will take place in Perm from May 26th till June 1st. And Khanty-Mansiysk will meet college students from all over Russia from 11 to 17 June. The project is implemented by the Russian Youth Union with the support of the Presidential platform «Russia - Land of Opportunities».
