Raikhan Beisenova, Head of the Department for Environmental Management and Engineering of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU), shared her experience in this area.

Yugra State University has been cooperating with the University of Nur-Sultan since 2014. From 2016 to 2019, universities jointly implemented the Erasmus + project, which was dedicated to transboundary water use between Russia and Kazakhstan. Our countries are united by the Irtysh River.

The report was heard by the directors of institutes, heads of scientific schools and YuSU teaching staff. Colleagues from SurSU and NVSU joined the meeting online.

Raikhan Beisenova presented the international double degree program implemented by the Kazakh University, the features of construction educational trajectories, and also spoke about the ratings that are important for universities to be got into.

Thus, every ENU student is required to complete a 10-day internship at a foreign university. The programs at this university can be taught in three foreign languages  - Kazakh, Russian and English. Every year, foreign teachers are invited to the university.
ENU students can also get two diplomas upon graduation. The second is at a partner university, which also has a two-degree program. In Russia, ENU has been cooperating with RUDN for 10 years.
