YuSU held a teleconference with Urgench State University
Today, November 3, there was a teleconference between teachers and students of YuSU and Urgench State University (Uzbekistan).

The event was organized ahead of National Unity Day in Russia and as part of the project of the Institute of Digital Economy "Formation and implementation of international academic mobility program "Yugra - Urgench".

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen research and cultural ties between two universities.

According to meeting moderator Tatyana Dyatlova: "Strengthening of international and regional cooperation in the field of education and strengthening of YuSU potential through the involvement of specialized scientific schools and departments of UrSU (Uzbekistan) allows to discuss and develop an international track on educational programs and a program of additional professional education, to launch a pool of joint research activities and projects related to digitalization of the Economy, to implement mutual academic and research activities.

Gairat Urazboyev, Vice Rector for International Cooperation of Urgench University, noted in his greeting speech that they have not been cooperating with Yugra State University for a long time, but they already know the opportunities in education and research activities: "We hope that year after year our cooperation will become stronger, and the organized teleconference is the first step to this".

At the end of the teleconference, students from both sides presented their educational institutions, shared their experiences and expressed their readiness for an academic exchange between Urgench and Khanty-Mansiysk.

The project of the Institute of Digital Economy "Formation and implementation of international academic mobility program "Yugra - Urgench" was first aimed at the development of academic mobility of teachers.

Participation in mobility programs is a motivation to improve skills (internships) in specialized disciplines, the possibility of organizing and conducting joint scientific and educational activities (forums, conferences, round tables, etc.), the publication of joint scientific articles in international publications.

The project leader Elena Burundukova said: "The participation of teachers in international educational programs has become an essential part of modern Russian education, which means that participation will expand the geography of partners and create new conditions and forms of academic mobility, participation in international educational programs and contribute to the successful integration of higher education in YuSU in the World Education and Science system".
