Yugra State University was presented in Cairo

On December 17-18 in Cairo the Forum of foreign graduates of Soviet and Russian universities was held with the participation of representatives of higher education in the Middle East and Africa. Yugra State University was represented by Roman Kuchin, Rector of Yugra State University, and Evgeny Zarov, Senior Researcher.

More than 200 graduates from 30 Russian universities and educational organizations in Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, UAE, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Zambia, Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Ethiopia and South Africa participated in the Forum. The delegates discussed the development of cooperation in the field of education between Russia, the Middle East and Africa, and shared their experiences in training national personnel in their countries and the results of international projects.

Roman Kuchin presented scientific and educational potential of Yugra State University, talked about the benefits of studying at the university, and also shared the results of international projects and described the key areas of the development of Yugra State University.

The event was organized by the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, compatriots living abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

"We are very proud of the graduates of Russian and Soviet universities and consider this area one of the key in terms of the development of humanitarian relations between the Russian Federation and foreign countries," - said Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Pavel Shevtsov.
