On May 6, a teleconference was held between representatives of YuSU and INTI International University in Malaysia.
During the meeting, issues on bilateral cooperation in the implementation of joint academic exchange programs and double diplomas were discussed.
Representatives of universities briefly presented their universities, shared their experience of international cooperation.
INTI International University was founded in 1998 and is a private higher education institution in Malaysia. The university offers over 100 programs that are approved by the country's Ministry of Higher Education (MORE) and its qualification agency (The Malaysian Qualifications Agency).
The educational institution has developed international exchange programs and scholarship programs. 99% of INTI graduates are employed within 6 months after graduation, 60% receive job offers before graduation. INTI is in the top 30 of the best universities in the country.
Mr. Jess Tinawin - Vice President of International Business Development at INTI - said that establishment of cooperation with Russian universities is of strategic importance and expressed hope for mutual interest from Yugra State University.
In turn, Director of the Center for International Cooperation at Yugra State University, Oksana Gololobova noted the prospect of bilateral cooperation in order to meet the needs of tomorrow with the help of competencies that students acquire today, becoming leaders, innovators, able to change the future.
The parties agreed to hold regular meetings to build a more effective partnership. We hope that in the near future, YuSU students will have the opportunity to complete an internship, and maybe get a second diploma in one of the best universities in Malaysia.
