YuSU Student Center works in various directions. There are several creative studios where students can demonstrate their talents.
One of them is vocal studio “VINILL”.
With our voices we show our thoughts and feelings to other people or just talk. But also we can sing! This is a song that raises the brightest feelings. So we offer to develop vocal skills and study how to sing. It doesn’t matter what musical experience one has because singing is like sport: a bit 1% of talent and 99% of work. You can train your voice. Singing is a way of expressing your emotions. So if you have something to say – SING!
Studio of modern choreography «Light it» was created in January 2013. There are 30 dancers in the studio, they have varying skill levels but all the students move forward their goals and achieve them. That confirms numerous awards of different contests like “YuSU Student Spring”, “Regional Student Spring”, “Russian Student Spring”, “Competition of young ballet masters named after S. Panfilov” and others.
Theater-studio “Otdykhai!” is the most awarded Student Theater, the winner of various theater competitions: “Theater Revolution”, “IKARIADA”, “Minute of Fame” and “Russian Student Spring”.
The theater exists for more than 25 years now. It has proved itself as one of the best student theaters in Russia. Its history began in Tobolsk and now continues in Khanty-Mansiysk. Despite its quite old age for a student theater, “Otdykhai!” is young, full of life and ideas!
Variety sketches, pantomime, experimental theatrical productions are in theater’s repertoire. For all this variety the common thing is that “Otdykhai!” presents even the most serious and important thoughts in a very easy and understandable for every viewer form.
