Czech Language Centre




General information


The Czech Language Center was established in Yugra State University in 2010 after signing the cooperation agreement between South Morabian region (Czech Republic) and Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous okrug – Yugra.


The South Moravian Centre for International Mobility (JCMM) is the organizer of the Center of Czech language. The JCMM has founded three Czech language centers in Russia, here in Khanty-Mansiysk, in Ulianovsk and Izhevsk. Students of the universities where the Czech centers were established can take Masters' and postgraduate courses in Brno, the Czech Republic. To achieve this goal the main activity areas of the centers are:


First, the Czech centers offer free of charge Czech language courses. They help students who would like to study in universities in the city of Brno to learn the language and to adapt faster in the Czech Republic.


Second, the JCMM awards grants with the help of the Czech centers. The centers provide information support, assist students with applications and other documents for taking grants and entering the universities of Brno.

Czech language courses


The courses are organized twice a year from October till December and from February till July. Upon completion the course and passing the test students are awarded with a center’s certificate. This certificate is also a criterion of admission to universities of Brno.
