TREASURE WATER Project
Yugra State University has been a proud member of the Trans-Regional Environmental Awareness for Sustainable Usage of Water Resources project (TREASURE WATER) implemented by TREASURE WATER Consortium having formed of 14 institutions from four EU (Germany, England, Greece, the Netherlands) and two partner countries (Russia and Kazakhstan). The participants challenge to find answers to the question what various nations can do to manage shared natural resources sustainably. They collaborate to deepen the comprehensive cooperation between each other to intensify mobility and exchange between European universities and those in EU neighbouring countries, to create new curricula for universities employing best practices in the fields of higher education and environment. 


Objectives

−To develop a trans-institutional model for interaction between higher educational institutions and enterprises in the field of trans-boundary water resource management;
−To enhance teaching capacities of higher educational institutions by developing support tools and staff training;
−To raise awareness of water problems;
−To create potential for internationalization.


Funding
The consortium has been grated by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union under the number 561775-EPP-1-2015-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.

Duration
The project started in April 2016 and will finish in October 2019.
