We announce the preparation to the International Russian-Syrian scientific-practical conference "Russian language and culture in the educational system of Syria, the Arabic language and culture in the educational system of the Russian Federation: problems and prospects" that will take place on December, 6-7

Format: offline and online / event in a mixed format

Speech schedule:

Opening remarks - up to 5 minutes

Plenary report - up to 20 minutes

The presentation at the section or round table - up to 10 minutes. Debate on the report - up to 5 minutes.

Speech at the final session - up to 5 minutes

Languages of the conference: Russian, Arabic.

Scientists, teachers, methodologists, graduate students of universities, secondary educational institutions, secondary schools, private language schools and courses are invited to participate in the Conference.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss current problems in the field of teaching Russian language in educational institutions in Syria, the Arabic language in the education system in Russia and finding ways to solve them; increasing interest in the study of Russian language and culture in Syria, the Arabic language and culture of the Arab East in Russia.

Date: December 6-7 (The conference will be held within the Russian Language Week in foreign countries, organized by the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra)
