Interim results of the Admission Campaign - 2023

On August 3, Yugra State University finished the admission of original documents on education. Orders on enrollment of freshmen in the main competition will be published on August 10, and in the meantime, it is time to learn the statistics of those who were admitted by quota and without entrance examinations.

Every year the admission campaign shows a high level of involvement and interest of applicants in receiving quality education, and 2023 was no exception! This year the university conducted admission in 19 bachelor's degree programs (720 budget vacancies) and 12 master's degree programs (222 budget vacancies). In total, the admissions committee of YSU received 9055 applications from applicants of all levels of education.

Separate and special quotas were envisaged for special military operation veterans and their family members, each amounting to at least 10% of the total budget.

"A total of 42 people were enrolled in the priority direction, of which 2 European water polo champions were accepted without enrollment tests, 7 - under a special quota for SMO veterans and their children, 17 - under the target direction and 16 - under the privilege. We are also waiting for 8 international students that are selected to study in YuSU within the Quota of RF. Among them are citizen of Ghana, Zambia, Egypt, Tajikistan, Afghanistan." shared Rector of YuSU Roman Kuchin.

The most popular bachelor's degree specialties this year were: "Informational Science and Engineering" (11.37 people), "Software Engineering" (10.4 people), "Law" (11.49 people), "Oil and Gas Engineering" (8.44 people). To continue their education in the Master's program, applicants most often choose the following directions: "Technosphere Safety" (15.16 people), "Physical Education" (8.16 people) and "Law" (7.62 people).

"This year applicants could submit documents to YuSU in several ways: come in person, through the "Personal Profile of the applicant", send by "Russian Post", as well as through the superservice "Online Admission to the university ". It is worth noting that more than 60% of applications to the university were submitted online on the portal Gosuslugi, and only 20% of applications were submitted in person," - said Roman Kuchin.

Note that next year applications from applicants will be accepted only through the Unified Portal of State Services.
