More budget vacancies at Russian universities in 2024

In the next academic year it is planned to allocate 591,967 budget vacancies for the following programs of study:

- "Health and Medical Sciences";

- "Mechanical Engineering";

- "Computer Science and Computer Engineering";

- "Biological Sciences";

- "Electronics, radio electronics and communication systems";

- "Information Security";

- "Mathematical and Natural Sciences";

- "Agriculture and Agricultural Sciences."

In 2024, about 10,870 students will study free of charge at colleges and universities of Yugra.

"According to the assignments of the President of Russia to ensure accessibility of higher education, the number of budget vacancies in Russian universities will be increased in 2024. Budget vacancies for universities of LNR, DNR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions will be distributed in a special order. This will make it possible to strengthen the provision of personnel to ensure technological sovereignty, a priority task set by the President," - Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko said.
