Rostelecom equipped all branches of Yugra State University (YSU) with a domestic video surveillance system. The digital security system, including more than 350 IP-cameras, appeared on the territory of the university's educational buildings in Lyantor, Nefteyugansk, Nizhnevartovsk and Surgut. About 5,000 people visit the educational institution's branches in these cities every day.

"Our university is a large ecosystem where all departments work in a unified information and digital field. The large modernization of the video surveillance system allowed us to strengthen visual control of the processes taking place in the university and keep a finger on the pulse. First of all, video surveillance is the safety of students, teachers and guests of Yugra State University".
According to the legislation, today all educational institutions of the country must be equipped with video surveillance systems. The technological solution is designed to ensure anti-terrorist protection of facilities by collecting video information and immediate response within the framework of the Safe City project. The cameras help to detect vandalism, theft and other offenses inside and outside the buildings. An operator, for whom a new full-fledged workplace is being created, monitors in real time the state of material assets, actions of employees, students and guests of the institution.

Earlier we installed IP video surveillance cameras on the territory of Yugra State University in Khanty-Mansiysk, as well as connected existing devices to the unified system.
