Smart Lean Group Club is the winner in the League of Higher Education Institutions Award

From October 12 to 14, the SMART LEAN GROUP delegation participated in the Campus of internal trainers, teachers and mentors in the northern capital of our country - St. Petersburg.

As part of the program, the results of the League of Higher Education Institutions Award were summarized.

SLG Student Club took part in the Award in the nomination "Excellent Initiative", in which it won a well-deserved victory, presenting its results for three years of productive joint work with partner enterprises, schoolchildren and students of YuSU.

By Gazprom Neft Corporate University, a representative of the delegation led by Olesya Ivanovna Aladko, head of the lean-laboratory, was awarded a name cup.

The student club was represented by: Ksenia Izmodenova and Aiza Ibrakova.

First of all, I would like to note the level of organization of the event, it was at the highest level, from the presenters to the videographers/photographers. Of course, when the ceremonial part of the event began, there was already a sense of excitement. And here, the presenter calls our nomination "Excellent Initiative", drum roll... The Smart Lean Group is awarded to the Student Improvement Club based at the YuSU lean-lab. At this moment my hands began to tremble with joy, because we have been walking to this victory for 3 years. Memories from the event will remain very heartfelt, warm and exciting!", - shared her impressions Aiza Ibrakova.

"The structure and methods of work have improved every year, we participate in this award every year, but in different nominations, this year the nomination "Excellent initiative" 100% suitable to describe the life of the student club: a project team was created in the person of the curator of the direction "improvement projects" and me, our mentor was Olesya Ivanovna. From the beginning of the academic year we were engaged in compiling a project application according to the required criteria, in the end our application was accepted and the results were announced only directly at the event, in St. Petersburg," said Ksenia Izmodenova.

Ksenia also noted the competitive spirit that was present during the competition: "The competitive spirit was very strong, but on the other hand, we were guided by the club rule that says: "It doesn't matter whether we win or win". We were simply confident in our results. For every event and project, we have a report and the actual results we achieved. Personally, I had thoughts of winning in the ratio of 50/50, because we competed with the best universities of the country, which are members of the League of universities, for us it is honorable, we do not think to stop, we will continue to work. Now we are recruiting for the club, I hope that our members will soon be joined by the new active upgraders, who will also proudly present the results in 5, 10 or even 15 years".
