The mentoring system is a mutually beneficial cooperation

The Business Center of Khanty-Mansiysk hosted an introductory meeting of students of Yugra State University with Ilya Verkhovsky, expert advisor of the city mayor, sociologist, and Daria Plesovskikh, head of the Department of HR and Municipal Service of the City Administration.

Students of the directions "Economics" and "Law", who were selected under the mentoring program, learned about the work of local Government, the benefits and opportunities that are provided in the framework of joint work with the Municipality.

Ilya Arkadyevich conducted a small educational training intensive, talking about the peculiarities of working with people and showing the importance of sociological research for organizing the work of the Administration.

"I want to contribute to the future of the city! My goal is employment in the local Government or regional authorities. Of course, I want to go through this program in full and I am sure that the results will be fruitful", - shared his plans Daniil Ababkov, a 3rd year student of "Law" program.

The students have already become actively involved and have proposed their ideas and projects. Next, they will be immersed in the structure and powers of local self-government bodies, as well as the possibility of further employment in government structures.
