YuSU environmentalists are among the best students in the CIS

Students of the YuSU Higher School of Ecology and Nature Management became prize-winners of the 13th International Ecological Olympiad of CIS universities.

The event was held on the basis of the Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of the Belarusian State University and united 33 teams from different universities of Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan.

Russian universities were represented by: Yugra State University, National Research Tomsk State University, D.I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) and others.

Under the guidance of Svetlana Kuznetsova, Associate Professor of the Higher School of Economics, our team took the third prize in the practical round with the project of the game innovative eco-educational platform "ECOVESTTUR". The students presented the existing eco-educational platform of the Higher Ecological School and proposed new possible innovations in eco-education.

According to the results of the creative competition (essays):

First degree diploma was awarded to Artur Niyazov and Darya Dolinova;

Diploma of II degree - Ulyana Smolnikova and Egor Bogdanov;

Diploma of III degree - Esmiralda Chelolyan.
