Yesterday, Yugra State University hosted a meeting of foreign participants of the III International Forum “Human Capital Development” with students.
The guests of the meeting were Lucas Adrian Garcia, Head of the International Center for Cooperation between Russia and Argentina, and Aijun Nie, PhD and Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Camp Education in China.
Lucas Adrian Garcia spoke about the activities of his center aimed at strengthening cooperation between Argentina, Latin American countries and Russia. He also shared his experience of participating in the World Youth Festival in Sochi and explained how to get a grant to participate in festivals and other youth events he oversees.
Prof. Aijun Nie presented his unique project - “Camp Education in China”. The main goal of the project is to organize joint camp shifts for children from Russia and China, which helps strengthening cooperation between the countries. He also invited YuSU students to become counselors in their camps, emphasizing that this is a great opportunity to gain international work experience.
The meeting was held actively, students asked a lot of questions and were able to communicate with the speakers personally. The participants of the event noted the importance of learning English as a key tool for international interaction and recommended young people to be active, dream and not be afraid that something will fail.
