YuSU representatives took part in the meeting of the International Club of Friends of Yugra

On 24 April the first meeting of the International Club of Friends of Yugra took place with the participation of the Governor of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra Natalia Vladimirovna Komarova. During the event there was an active discussion of the role of youth in the formation of the image and potential of Yugra region, the importance of existing domestic ("Hello, Russia!", "New Generation", "Dobrino") and planned international projects.

Representatives of the countries of Tanzania, Iraq, Serbia, Argentina, etc., noting the attractiveness of the region in the economic and educational sphere, expressed their willingness to cooperate on mutually beneficial terms in order to promote the region as a promising space for project activities. Among the participants of the meeting there were also YuSU students Mervis-Marriam Piri from Zambia and Tarek Hosni Hussein from Egypt, as well as Nikita Lobanov, an employee of the International Office.

At the end of the meeting, new ways of international co-operation and plans for the upcoming terms were outlined.
