YuSU student - silver medallist of the Russian Biathlon Cup

Mikhail Burundukov, a first-year master's student of "State Municipal Management" program, became a silver medallist of the Russian Biathlon Cup.

The competition was held in mid-January in Izhevsk.

About 60 athletes competed for the title of the fastest and the most skilful. Mikhail managed to take the second place in the 10 km sprint, not making a single miss at the firing line and finishing in 30 minutes.

Mikhail has been involved in biathlon for 14 years. He finds this sport interesting because it combines skiing and shooting: "Thanks to the combination of two different actions, this sport is exciting and gives adrenaline".
