Ilya Gerasimenko, a student of the YuSU Higher School of Ecology, took part in the Eastern Economic Forum, which was held in Vladivostok. The main theme of this year's event was “2030. Let's join forces, creating opportunities”. The forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation. Leaders of leading Russian and foreign companies, representatives of government agencies, leading economists and experts gathered on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University.
For the first time, the youth program of EEF was organized in a new format. The “Day of the Future” events allowed young participants to experience the atmosphere of the forum to the maximum extent possible and to communicate with Russian and foreign business leaders. Over 20 events were held to discuss future technologies, the development of human resources in the Far East, international youth cooperation, 21st century education, and public environmental projects.
About 1000 people took part in the youth program. Among them was Ilya Gerasimenko, a first-year student of the Master's program in the direction of “Service” training.
“The Eastern Economic Forum seemed to me the most large-scale and tremendous of all those that I have ever visited. First of all, I was impressed by the highest level of speakers and participants of the forum - these are heads of leading Russian and international companies, heads of government agencies, well-known economists and experts in the field of education. It was interesting to visit conferences devoted to technology, artificial intelligence, international cooperation and creative industries. I am sure that such events are extremely important for the future of our country. Besides, the long journey across the country gave me unforgettable adventures, a huge number of new acquaintances and opportunities for professional development,” Ilya shared his impressions.
