Evgeny Usoltsev is a student of Yugra State University, winner of the Yugra Leaders competition, which aims to improve the interaction of citizens with state and municipal structures through digital platforms. He told about his project and his way to victory.
Evgeny shared that he was looking for a contest related to personal development grants in the spheres of public administration, economics and IT. “I came across a post about the Yugra Leaders 2022 competition and saw that there was an enrollment for 2024. I was lucky!” - he noted.
Preparing for the contest was a very important step. “I studied the topic and looked at what projects have already been realized in Yugra. I thought that my project would be perfect for the district and later for the whole of Russia,” said Evgeny. Despite some doubts about meeting the state's requirements, the clearly defined project brought him success.
The student's competitive work is aimed at simplifying the life of privileged categories of citizens and helping the state to realize its functions more effectively. He plans to continue his career in public administration or IT.
One of the key topics that Evgeny touched upon is increasing citizens' trust in digital platforms. “First, it is necessary to highlight digital platforms - to tell how they work and are created. Secondly, it is important to minimize the number of bugs and errors in the systems,” he explained. He also emphasized the importance of the security of personal data storage as the main priority to increase the trust of citizens.
Evgeny also noted that the appearance of a digital platform affects user retention: “A user-friendly interface can make using the platform more convenient.”
We congratulate Evgeny with the victory, wish him further success at the next finals of the contest “Flagships of Education” in Volgograd! And hope that his project can bring real changes in life of citizens.
