YuSU students became prize-winners of the contest «Digital Technology in Tourism and Hospitality»

Students of the specialty "Tourism" took part in the International Contest "Digital Technology in Tourism and Hospitality", held at the Omsk State Technical University.

The contest was dedicated to the relevant aspects of digital technologies in tourism and hospitality and aimed to support initiatives that promote the formation of students and schoolchildren digital competencies and their involvement in the development in this area.

More than 100 students from 27 Russian universities took part in this contest, 13 of which represented YuSU and became the best in several nominations at once.

Therefore, Matvey Kazantsev took an honorable third place in the essay contest «Digital Transformation and end-to-end technologies in Tourism». Ksenia Gryaznova took second place in the nomination «Tourism and Photography»: photo contest and Artem Shkilev took third place.

«I have a hobby - photography, so when I saw the nomination, a photo contest, I decided to take part. To be honest, it was my first photo contest, and I didn't even think I would become a prize winner. It was hard to choose a photo, but I decided to show my work "Grozny Reloaded", which shows the Akhmad Kadyrov Mosque, the Heart of Chechnya and Grozny City as well as a photo "Freedom" of me swinging on a swing in the mountains. I'm very happy that I took second place and tried my hand at a contest that's new to me, » said Ksenia Gryaznova.
