YuSU students will be receiving a scholarship of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation

Six students of YuSU became recipients of the scholarship of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation. They were included in the list of scholarship holders in priority areas of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy. The honored students have achieved success in their studies and scientific research.

Thus, Daria Gorbatyuk and Mikhail Kochetkov, students of the Polytechnic School of YuSU (13.03.02 “Electrical Power Engineering”) will be receiving the scholarship of the President of Russia.

It should be noted that Mikhail was awarded the diploma of the I degree of the XII All-Russian Youth Conference named after V.I. Shpilman in the section “Energy Efficiency, Energy Saving in Oil and Gas Complex”. Daria was also the author of the scientific article of the conference. In addition to studies, the girl devotes a lot of time to social activities, is engaged in volunteering and art.

“Most of all I remember the forum, which I attended, so far, as a listener - ‘XXIII Conference of young professionals working in organizations engaged in activities related to the use of subsoil areas in the territory of Yugra’. I plan to develop more in the future in scientific activity, experience and knowledge will help me in further defense of my diploma”, - said the scholarship holder.

The scholarship of the Russian Government was awarded to four students of Yugra State University: Nikita Kasyanov from the Polytechnic School (13.03.02 “Electrical Power Engineering”), as well as Evgeny Cherevkov, Vladislav Sivkov and Dmitry Nikolaev from the Engineering School of Digital Technologies (09.03.04 “Software Engineering”).

Daria's and Mikhail's colleague, Nikita Kasyanov, also promotes science as a member of the Student Scientific Society. Nikita is an active participant of the student club Smart Lean Group, which focuses on lean technologies. Nikita was a participant of the Yugra forum of youth mentoring “Dawn of Generations”, III Rationalization and Productivity Cup, Yugra International forum of student leaders.

The team of ESDT students - Evgeny Cherevkov, Vladislav Sivkov and Dmitry Nikolaev - develops applications, websites and services. Thus, the scholarship holders presented a chatbot integrated into the Yugra International website to help university applicants, as well as Master Cheap - a website that helps to quickly track down favorable offers and save money on purchases, at the International Exhibition-Forum “Russia” at VDNH. The students also won prizes at the "Khantynthon" - okrug hackathon.

“For us this is the most important event, which is a recognition of our efforts. Having walked a long and difficult path, I realize that all the scientific work has not been done for nothing. Such measures of support inspire to work further, add strength and optimism. I would like to express my gratitude to the management and teaching personnel of YuSU for the opportunity to learn, create and study within the walls of my favorite university”, - said Vladislav Sivkov.
