YUSU ASSOCIATE PROF REPORTS ON EDUCATION ISSUES IN DENVER, USA

Olga Hopiaynen, the Chairperson of the Chair of foreign languages, has won a grant for participation in «English Education Administration Institute», an important educational event for English teachers. The meeting is taking place this week in the USA, with 25 participants from all over the world, among whom 2 are from Russia. The major part of the conference is taking place in Denver, Colorado.


Besides attending the courses, the participants are visiting the annual international TESOL convent in Portland, Oregon. The general topic of the conference is traditional, teaching English to non-English-speakers. The conference includes seminars, workshops, visiting English Language Expo fair of vacancies.


Olga Hopiaynen will introduce her view of methodology of teaching English to university students. Her lectures will be attended by teachers from different countries and the students of a local university.
