FINLAND'S ACADEMIA PRESENTS NEW ENVIRONMENT TECHNOLOGY IN YUSU

On April, 2, the guests from the University of Helsinki presented a new technique of atmospheric measurments



At the meeting in the Professors' library hall the visitors from the University of Helsinki presented the eddy covariance technique of collecting meteorological data from a network of devices. The presenter, Ivan Mammarella, spoke about the existing network and discussed the plans of organizing another point at Mukhrino station with Prof. Elena Lapshina, Head of the department of Dynamics of the environment and climate change.











Yulia Papanova, Head of the International cooperation department, and Pavel Alexeychik, member of the research group, provided the interpretation, while Sigrid Dengel and Ivan Mammarella gave commentaries and answered the questions of the audience, mostly the students of our Institute of environmental management.
