Within the nationwide subscription the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation granted YUSU a licensed access to the authoritative international database of scientific citation indexes – Web of Science.

The available collection includes main databases called Web of Science Core Collection which comprises the following sections:

• Science Citation Index Expanded (back files since 1975 till present) – an advanced science citation index with journal articles on natural sciences, medicine and agriculture;

• Social Sciences Citation Index (back files since 1975) – a database of abstracts on social sciences;

• Arts & Humanities Citation Index (back files since 1975) – a multitopic journal index on Arts and Humanities;

• Emerging Sources Citation Index (back files since 2015) – a citation index of emerging sources incorporates records of journals’ articles not covered by other sections, that must be assessed for a certain period of time before they are indexed in other sections;

• Book Citation Index Science & Social Sciences editions (back files since 2015) – a multitopic index on scientific literature;

• Conference Proceedings Citation Index Science & Social Sciences editions (back files since 1990) – citation index comprising literature references to conferences in all fields of science and technology;

Additional resources available on the Web of Science platform:
• MEDLINE (since 1950),
• Korean Journal Database (since 1980),
• SciELO Citation Index (since 1997).

Any YUSU-based computer connected to the local network provides access to the database. To have access from a PC at home, you need to register in the university network, and then use your credentials to log in.
