YUSU HOSTS NORTHERN YOUTH FORUM
Yugra State University is hosting the Regional Forum "The Youth: Future of the Russian North". Having kicked off today, the biduous event will wrap up on Saturday.

The main goal of the Forum is to establish a united platform for best practices sharing between regional youth public associations implementing Russia's state national and youth policies in Ugra.  


In the plenary meeting, the participants discussed best implementation practices for projects and programs aimed at the social, economic and cultural development of indigenous minorities in Ugra, and at harmonization and strengthening inter-ethnic relations, alongside establishing a single ethnic-cultural environment.


The Forum set out to hold the Training Seminar for Coordination Council members of the YOUPO Youth Ob-Ugric Peoples Organization "Civilians Legal Education", Foresight Session "Come to Unity" and Round Table "Youth Engagement in Ugra Social Life". The meeting will finish after the Regular Congress of the KMAO – Ugra Youth Ob-Ugric Peoples Organization.


The next day the attendees are expected to participate in the Round Table "Ethnic Sports: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow", visit the ethnographic Open-Air Museum "Torum Maa", with the Edutainment Program "Finno-Ugric and Samoyedic Meetings in Ugra", Quest Game "I Am Not Alone", traditional Finno-Ugric games, Crow's Day celebration and Ethnic Disco to add up to a number of Forum festivities.
