In the modern global and digital world, the competitiveness of energy companies is determined by the speed of innovation and digital technologies that provide energy saving, energy efficiency and safety at production sites. At the same time, the implementation of digital transformation at the enterprise is possible only if there are specialists with competencies in managing change, complex technological and business processes, ”says Irina Takmasheva, Deputy Vice-Rector for Research at Yugra State University. - Based on the data of Rosatom and Word Skills, a significant problem is the lack of global GDP of more than $ 5 trillion due to the low competencies of company employees and low-quality business processes implemented in enterprises that do not meet the demands of the digital economy.

As Irina Takmasheva explained: “The effect for energy companies on introducing the technologies proposed by the university is to reduce errors by 50% and extend equipment life, reduce labor costs and save man-hours by 35%, reduce the process time by 45%, and improve the quality of work / services by 40%, ensuring the growth of the "digital culture" of employees. The effect for Russia and the regions will be to overcome the "competency pit" of employees, estimated by experts at 33.9 million people. "

The project considers new approaches and technologies of industry 4.0, tools of LEAN-technologies translated into virtual reality; use of gamification and business simulations based on 3D / VR / AR technologies.

This project was presented in 2020 in the West Siberian Research and Educational Center of world level in Tyumen.

In addition, two more projects of YuSU were considered at the REC. The first concerns the problems and methods of organizing operational monitoring and environmental assessment of the Ob-Irtysh river basin in the context of climate change in the territories of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Tyumen Oblast within the framework of the project “Ecological Safety of the Ob-Irtysh River Basin”. The second - “Development of innovative technologies for the production of target products of the processing of organic raw materials of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra (peat, sapropel, brown coal, yagel)” - allows to give recommendations for obtaining specific target products, create a pilot production and conduct testing at agricultural enterprises.
