Call for participation in the international Russian-British project
ISInCAR is an international project to be implemented in 2020-2022 with the support of the British Embassy (Moscow). The project is aimed at creating and strengthening international partnerships between Russian and British universities. The project team consists of six universities: Yugra State University, Nizhnevartovsk State University, Tyumen State University, Bangor University, University of the West of England, and Highlands and Islands University.
Students of each educational institution, under the guidance of leading scientists, will conduct research on the territory of two countries. Within the project implementation, two-week trips to the research station of the University of Highlands and Islands and to the field station of Ygra State University - Mukhrino are planned for YSU students.
Bachelor students (any course) and master students (planning to continue their studies in graduate school), studying in any direction and interested in conducting research in the field of climate change, can apply for participation. Link for registering an application:

Basic requirements for participants:
1. Desire to conduct a scientific research in the field of climate change;
2. Basic skills of the English language;
3. Studying at the university for the next three years
4. Willingness to study abroad.
The final selection of candidates for participation in the Russian-British project will be carried out on the basis of an interview, which will take place on November 25-26, 2020 (online format). To participate in the interview, it is necessary to prepare an oral report (duration no more than 5 minutes) on the topic “Me and my attitude to climate change”.
